The Little Things

I've often wandered where my life would be today
If I didn't work with children and had gone another way.
I wouldn't have the hassle of the diapers and mess
I wouldn't have the constant noise, the long days or the stress!

I wouldn't have the laundry that accumulates in piles!
I wouldn't have the worry or responsibility
I wouldn't have to wait two hours so I could just pee!!!

I wouldn't see the children learn to sit or walk or crawl
I wouldn't get to kiss their bumps and bruises when they fall
I wouldn't feel the pride within my heart when I first see
My precious little charges first recite their ABC's!

I wouldn't get to travel to far off places every day
Through stories, songs and three-year-olds' imaginative play
I'd miss the laughs and giggles and the hugs and kisses too
I wouldn't have the hectic place-but what else would I do?

I might find a shorter work day, and of course with better pay
but I'd miss those tender moments I take pleasure in each day
I may be missing out on things but still don't think I'll switch
'Cause I'd miss out on the little things that truly make me rich!!

designer jeans for sweat pants,
long showers for hairy legs,

and I wouldn't change a thing back!!

I found this and wanted to share it with all of you......

The Wild

Mothers,

Weep not for your child,
For once out of your womb, into the world they must go,
Into the wild some will choose to go to fight their country's foes.
There is nothing you can do or say,
They must make their own way.
For their safe return you can only pray.

Fathers,

Be strong and through example teach your child to be strong,
For they must go out into the world to right their enemy's wrongs,
Instill kindness, compassion and humility in your child,
Prepare them well before they go into the wild.
But most of all, teach him to love in the face of the enemy's hatred,
And to forgive his enemy's deeds each night as he warily returns to bed.

Sons,

Off into the wild you must go,
Compassion for your enemy's victims you must show,
Let your heart and mind be strong.
Right your victim's wrongs,
And when you have done your great deed,
Take heed!
Never brag of what you do,
Because that victim could be a family member or even worse, you!

It is Monday.....yahoo
I am sitting here with my 4 month old son. (Colten) I would really like some sleep.
For some reason the past week I have been so tiered. I seem to not be able to get enough. Yesterday my husband woke me up and I was trying to do 3 things at once...Go to the bathroom and change my 2 1/2 year old daughters poopy diaper, plus get a list of things I had to get started right away. We had family coming over and they would be here at 10am. So I stand up and step right into the poopy diaper!!!!! yuck....My husband said it was like a part in a movie...Me saying..."were did I put that diaper, I don't want to step in it" and then I do. lololol What a morning that was.
It was my husbands Birthday this weekend. We went for a drive on the day...It was a gorges drive!!! We like to take our Ford Van in places were a Jeep should only go!!! lololol But it is fun.
I have been looking in to a Horse Farm. When we move to Halifax I would like (dream) own a farm. And maybe have 2 horses on it. I rode horses as a kid. But I never had to do all the stable stuff. I might wait till the kids are older. So I can put all of my time into it.

The weather here is gorges!!!! My daughter is down for a nap and I would really like my so to sleep to so I can.....I would really like a nap!!!! Goodnight all.

Well this morning I thought I had won the lottery....both my kids slept in till 11am I can't believe it. I get up and wow half my day is gone!!! Then I make my coffee go outside and guess what......Well payback's are a bitch.....our house got egged!!! I remember doing that as a child. lolol Not to much I can do about it. And to honest it is only eggs.
It is funny how life goes.....you do silly things and then silly things are done to you.

Ok well I think I have figured out how to set this blog up. And I think I did a GREAT job at it if I do say so myself. I have pictures of my family, which they mean the world to me!!! Now it has taken me 4 hours to set this all up...let's see if I stay on top of this blogging thing. I hope I get some followers.... Or I just did this all for me...lolol I still have a long way to go with blogging... But I am sure I will get there....If I can go on FB every day and write stuff...I am sure I can do this.
